This week Jon and Rett sit down and watch Blade, an early Marvel movie about the half-man, half-vampire, vampire hunter. This is the first of a THREE-PARTER! So stick around, and hear them finish talking about Superman vs. Batman, different cultures and geography, and so much more.
Thank you Gilgamesh Brewing for fueling Cineman! And remember to drink the new limited-edition Terry Porter and support Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.
This episode is the second half of the movie, Bullitt. Jon and Rett are still joined by Dustin, and they talk about all manners of things. They are blown away by to-the-letter hospital, morgue and police procedures, and continue drinking delicious beer, including the Vader, from Gilgamesh Brewing. More car talk, and as always Star Wars.
Dustin, Jon, and Rett finish the second half of Dr Phibes Rises Again (there was only maybe 30 minutes left anyways), they talk about lactose intolerance, Dr Pepper, a sweet wrestling move based of Scorpions.
And no podcast with Dustin and Jon would be complete if they didn’t talk about old cars. Please don’t take any of their advice. And they wrap things up by talking about how easy life was before becoming adults.
This week, Jon and Rett are joined by Dustin as they watch the second Dr Phibes. They drink a ton of beer, get caught up. Dustin and Jon talk old cars and tractors, and how Dustin can sell anything! WE MEAN ANYTHING! Rett still believes that sugar bonds with rubber. Dustin drinks more than Jon and Rett combined, and an all around good time is had!
Make sure to finish the second half next week! And check out when Dustin joins us again fro Starship Troopers.
This week Jon and Rett finish Phibes! They discuss cars that go 19mph, and chicken! Sounds like normal for these guys. We watch the sequel to Phibes next week with a special guest host, Dustin Kliewer! Make sure to enjoy this movies, because the second one is not so great.
Rett tried stand-up comedy for the first time, and sucks! Kand and Rett talk about his jokes and the overall scene. Then the hosts play a call left by a fellow redditor concerning who is better: Han Solo or Indiana Jones. Kane can’t let someone have their opinion when they think Han is better, so his bitter Irish side comes out.
Then Kane and Rett spend some time talking about CB radios and HAM radios, the new Ninja Turtles comic, and spend some time thanking Gilgamesh Brewing for sponsoring this episode.
We have a new twitter account! @dueloftaints
And a new email!
As always you can like us on facebook
This week Jon and Rett finish out their Planet Earth series by learning about the mountains. Like always they watch, reflect, and reminisce about life, and always ask life’s biggest questions: would you rather have your leg cut off by a sword or a machete?
Make sure to stick around till the very end to hear us, joined by special guest, Dustin Kliewer, watching Snoop Dogg’s Plizzanet Earth. And check it out when Dustin joins us in the future when we watch Starship Troopers.
It’s episode number 2 of Cineman! In which Jon and Rett watch a cult classic: Clive Barker’s Hellraiser!
Jon and Rett sit down to watch Hellraiser, starting from the second half, then starting over for the first half. Then they flip-flop them for your listening pleasure. And is any bad 80’s movie complete without bad light beer? No! So the guys drink Kirkland Signature brand Light Beer.
Make sure you tune back in for the next episodes of Cineman! The guys will be watching Conan the Barbarian soon!
